From vines that are over 100 years old on ungrafted pre-phylloxera rootstock, this dense red delivers notes of blackcurrants, cocoa, spice and licorice.  It is rich and full bodied with a fresh, savory and harmonious finish.  It will age well for another 20 years and it is suited for wild game.
