Fresh nose with oodles of plum, cassis and some stewed cherry notes.  Dark and brooding currant and dried figs notes come out the back end, with a greater myriad of flavors forming at all angles over time. Dried wild sage, kir, chocolate and the ubiquitous truffle and tar notes,  Although 14.5% ABV, the mouth acid is caressing; feel is light and coaxing.  The further mid palate is dense and the truffles become sharp and driving.
