2016 Hermanos Pecina Gran Reserva Rioja

 Gran Reserva refers to older wine aged longer in oak barrels. It's a combo platter. Not a direct translation but that's the sentiment. A richer 10 year old, and a more wood driven bottling for those who like the cherry oak of older Riojas. Can keep going, but drinking now would be a blast. Totally seamless and the elegance is beyond. A handsome wine for classy Spanish cuisine.
