“Gouleyant” translates as easy to drink. Certainly not typical for the appellation, this wine is juicy and medium bodied because fermentation was temperature controlled and shorter than traditional. Ripe blackberries and a little plummy with 15% Merlot in the mix. Mildly tannic.
