The distillery, the first recorded to produce AOC Rhum Agricole, is located in the northern part of Martinique at the base of iconic Mt. Pelée volcano. They ferment sugar cane juice which is then distilled and ages a minimum of 3 years. The rich, full-bodied rhum has notes of tobacco, oak, and caramel.
