Super old vine Muller, harvested from a .26 hectare parcel of 50 year old vines, fermented with 20% skin contact and 20% whole-cluster, pressed with an old basket press and back-blended with the base wine, raised in regional oak barrels. Weird mineral elements of Chablis like (almost) salt, Italian herbs, acacia, apricot and citrus rinds. Melon and nutty on the palate with fresh and zesty flavors. Well worth the small price tag!
