This Silvaner has a bit of skin contact (20%) adding deeper notes of stone fruit while the oak aging gives it a rounded mouth feel. Spicy, yeasty notes on the nose give way to tart apple and golden plum with an earthy, herbal, stone fruit character. There is a hint of smoke, salty minerality, refreshing acidity and nice tannin.
