2013 Domaine Kreydenweiss La Fontaine Aux Enfants
I was once at lunch with an Alsatian winemaker who told me, when asked about the differences in culture between the Alsatians and the French, the following story:
A Frenchman and an Alsatian man are walking down the street when they spot a pile of dog shit on the sidewalk. The Frenchman walks by and yells "this is disgusting" and continues walking. The Alsatian man finds a newspaper and covers it.

The 2013 La Fontaine Aux Enfants is a killer mix of Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois. It is brilliantly floral without too much of a powerful tulip essence. Just passion in the aromas. Fresh citrus and herbal notes mingle quite nicely to a palate filled with bright acid and fresh quenchability. There is exotic depth and laced precision.
