This Weekend's Events at Some Good Wine: Martin Scott/Polaner Wines + Black Button Distillery

Friends of Some Good Wine:
The weather is making a turn for the better and we're hoping you'll shed those Canada Goose jackets and venture out to the store for another free tasting this weekend.  We'll keep this short and sweet.  Here's the lineup for the weekend.

Friday 3/13 5:30-7:30pm:
1) Martin Scott will be in the house pouring some great old and new world Burgundian varietals from their portfolio.  We'll taste some cool-climate pinot noir from California and some white Burgundy.

2011 Alta Maria Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley  $26.99
2012 La Follette North Coast Pinot Noir $19.79
2012 Pierre Morey Bourgogne Blanc $24.29

SATURDAY 3/14 4-6pm:

1) We're pumped to have another NY craft distillery represented here this weekend.
Black Button Distilling, the first distillery in Rochester, NY since prohibition will be showcasing their lineup.  The Barrett family has been in the button-making business for four generations (hence the name) and the latest generation, under the skilled hand of the young distiller Jason Barrett, is making some of the finest grain spirits in the country.  We'll taste:

Black Button Distilling Vodka $35.99
Black Button Distilling Citrus Gin $35.99
Black Button Distilling Apple Pie Moonshine  $23.39

2) Polaner Selections will pour a TBD selection from their always-stellar portfolio

As always, everything at the tasting will be discounted by 10%

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
