Wines from the New York Times Wine of the Times: "To Find the Best of Languedoc, Follow the Producer"

Our friend Mr. Eric Asimov has hit the nail on the head one more time. I say this every time, but I am super thrilled he has decided to focus on arguably the most underrated and misunderstood wine region in the world: Languedoc. In short, historically, this was the red headed step child of France––mass produced, overlooked, table wine. Unfortunately, this persisted for generations until the last decade or so where amazing wines have been coming out with lighting speed.

Anyway, enough from me. Eric Asimov has written extensively about it in this week's column: To Find the Best of Languedoc, Follow the Producer.
