Lou Perez and Deborah Sklar present Parental Advisory, a hilarious blend of wine and stand-up comedy. Get a babysitter for the night and come taste a selection of wines from across the world, while watching some of NYC’s hottest comics at Some Good Wine!
LOU PEREZ – Comedian, producer, and the author of That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore. You may have seen Lou on FOX's Gutfeld! and Open to Debate with Michael Ian Black. Lou was the head writer and producer of the Webby Award-winning comedy channel We the Internet TV, produced the series Comedy Is Murder with Free the People, and began his career with the comedy duo Greg & Lou. Lou hosts the live debate series The Wrong Take, The Lou Perez Podcast, and co-hosts the Happy Hour Econ Podcast. Lou performs stand-up comedy all over the country with Rob Schneider (SNL, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo) and Scott Thompson (The Kids in the Hall).
Deborah Sklar is a native New Yorker with a background in acting, musical theatre, and a focus on comedy. She has performed in numerous theatrical productions throughout the city and has taught acting and special education in the Bronx. Her comedy explores the realities of navigating motherhood while playfully challenging the traditional roles of what it means to be a married woman in 2026. Deborah currently produces multiple comedy shows, including Mo Mondays and Laugh a Lot Comedy in Brooklyn and Toxic AF at Stand Up NY Comedy Club in Manhattan
SCOTT THOMPSON – You might know Scott as a member of the groundbreaking comedy troupe the Kids In The Hall or perhaps as Brian, the loyal assistant to Hank Kingsley on Garry Shandling’s groundbreaking HBO series, The Larry Sanders Show or even as Jimmy Price, the wry FBI agent on Bryan Fuller’s groundbreaking NBC series Hannibal. My point is he has done more ground breaking than an architect, and that doesn’t even touch on all the other shows he’s appeared in from ‘Tim and Eric’ to his career as a standup comedian and purveyor of one person shows or his several published books, his visual art, his countless talk show, and hosting appearances, his recording career with his rock band Mouth Congress or even his multiple websites and blogs beginning in 1996 with the, yes, groundbreaking website ‘Scottland,’ the original seed from which “NewScottLand” grew and which subsequently gave birth to this new iteration “NewScottLandLand”!!
MATTHEW BROUSSARD - Matthew is a Brooklyn-born comedian celebrated for his sharp wit and self-effacing humor. A former financial analyst with a degree in computational mathematics, his comedy is a heady mix of academic intelligence and punchy stand-up.
He is hitting the road for the EDUCATED/AMORAL Tour, a solo Tour that showcases his latest material and uniquely "douchey" perspective. As a solo headliner, Matthew Broussard will be leading the charge without a permanent supporting lineup, though local favorites often join the bill.
CHRIS LAMBERTH - Chris is a native of Prince George's County, MD living in the New York City area. He has shared the stage with a variety of national headliners including Bill Burr, D.L. Hughley, Craig Robinson, Marc Maron and Maria Bamford. He has performed on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live and the 2 Dope Queens Podcast. As an actor, he earned an MFA from The Theatre Conservatory at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. He was recently seen in the TONY Award-winning play The Lehman Trilogy directed by Sam Mendes. His TV/film credits include Harlem, High Maintenance, Mindhunter, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Orange Is The New Black, and the Oscar nominated film Can You Ever Forgive Me?. He also hosts the Mundane Festival—a weekly show available wherever podcasts are found.
