This style is hard to pin down. There is the new world jazz of an un-oaked Cali Chard with hints of tropical fruit but lying beneath is more exotic mineralogy and definition reminding me of the plush, earthiness embodied in some of the Cotes de Beaune styles. This is expressive and unique, a gem of a wine.
