Traditional method sparkling wine from... Brazil? The double-take you just did is understandable, but this punches well above expectations, not to mention above the modest price point. This is seriously good, with chalky, slightly toasty notes framing green apple, citrus and stone fruit flavors. The clean and well-knit finish reveals something of a marzipan note, yet maintains laser-like focus throughout. Excellent.
