2019 Perusini Refosco Colli Orientali del Friuli

This ancient, but not well known, dark skinned grape, is red intensity. Packed with great acidity and minerality, this wine has character to spare. With grass and violets on the nose and taste notes of pepper and plums, this pairs well with serious red meats.
