2018 Rosi Schuster Rotburger

Rotburger is another name for zweigelt, a hybrid grape created in 1922 by Friedrich Zweigelt, by crossing the varietals of Blaufrankisch and Saint Laurent. Zweigelt is probably the most planted grape in Austria.

This wine often reminds me of gamay, plush and easy to drink.
