2019 Clos du Marquis Saint Julien

Medium to full bodied; sleek and lean with muscular plum tones that seem to dance around a festive cocoa splash.  Berries and herbs come out in the middle palate with a soft finish that gets ethereal.  As said above, the wine will not age like a grand cru Bordeaux but a few years in the cellar would be fun not necessary.  This is fun now!
