This is a certifiable monster from southern France. Huge and lavish and just plain beastly. Stinks up the room when you pull the cork and pour it, in the most earthy and beautiful way of course. A blend of the usual suspects from this region (syrah, grenache, et al...), with a firm spicy, bacon-fatty, black pepper drenched set of aromatics. It will satisfy the big wine lover in you. This, with a steak, should be on your bucket list. Right under fishing for river monsters.
