2016 Camus Bruchon Savigny les Beaune Cuvee Reine JolyPolaner
View from the Cellar -- John Gilman: The 2016 Cuvée Reine Joly is very strong this year, delivering a fine aromatic constellation of red and black cherries, dark soil tones, woodsmoke, gamebird, Savigny spices and a nice topnote of red currant. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows excellent mid-palate depth, with lovely focus and nascent complexity, ripe, suave tannins and a long, tangy and very promising finish. Fine juice in the making. 2023-2060. 90+.
