2017 Vollenweider Goldgrube Spätlese

A full on spatlese that is young and pretty and deceptively rich.There's a lot of complexity here swimming around in the bottle waiting to be unleashed on an unsuspecting public. It's delicious now but it could be a twenty year wine. At 8.5% ABV, it is on the sweeter side so don't be surprised at the ripe fruit displayed here. It is perfectly balanced by fresh immaculate acidity for a bracing and electric mouth sizzle. Pork with this would be pure hedonism.
