Aka the "Black Sheep." This comes from 35-45 year old vines that are densely planted to sandy, silty soils. Blend of Freisa (75%,) Dolcetto (10%, Barbera (10%)and Merlot (5%). After aging in neutral casks it is bottled unfined, unfiltered and with less than 15mg of SO2. This is the funkier of the bunch with earthy strawberries tasking like Indiana Jones discovered the,. Tons of weird leather, tar and freshly churned cocoa. Densely coated mouth feel with long tannins that are explosive and festive.
