2019 Karim Rene Vionnet Chenas

Karim is a student of the legendary Guy Breton.  Straightforward authentic wine. Floral on the nose, violets maybe lavender. Bright red fruit, I get mostly wild strawberries and a subtle minerality usually only found in other more prestigious Crus. It’s refreshing but not “glou glou”, it will engage all your senses. This would be great with mildly spicy Mexican food or similar cuisine
